    ... They are open to the public. You can bring your dune buggy and 4 wheeler and ride. We walked over the dunes to see the pacific. The waves were wild and the wind was whipping. Back on the highway where we passed numerous parks and recreational areas. The day use is a bit steep, $5. We stopped at a few look outs to enjoy the views.     ... as the number was a single or double digit number, the outline of the state was pretty much what you would expect. If the highway was numbered in the triple digits, however, the outline of the state was stretched wider. It had the effect of making the state look short and fat. We thought this was pretty funny.

    Hi very one, well I've finally got enough of a signal to get this blog out and update everyone on what is happening with us so far.

    We've been here for three weeks now and we've had rain most every day, in fact we've only had I think 4 or 5 days of sun. If it has not rained it has been Gray and overcast. Things are very green and lush with moss growing on the ground, trees and rocks.
