          ... found a different path near the gorge, climbing bridge rails etc etc to get some decent photos.

          Still alive, we traveled back to Salzburg slowly, walked the river by night and checked out the cathedral all while consuming pumpkin soup, chocolate, apple strudel and coffee.

          ... info shared with a sense of humor. The old town was a pedestrian only area and that made it so much more pleasant. Once on our free time in the afternoon we went to an outdoor food market (in the sunshine) and had a delicious take away spinach pastry thing and each had a type of meatball. Mine tasted just like a polpette. Next highlight was the Salzburg Cathedral. I really preferred it over Melk Abbey Church. Not as over the top ornate . It's Good Friday ...
