I find myself in a group of crazy laughing and hearty Hungarian students. Directly at Lake Balaton we rent a two-floor holiday house our own - at least for this weekend. Every individual I see here on Friday for the first time in my life. It feels like I am on a different planet... there are no signs of any AIESEC network here. Awesome!

... Greek salad starters, Carpathian trout for me, expertly filleted at the table by the waiter. Mick has goulash.

The wines are from their own vineyard on the slopes above the castle. I try both red and white. Mick sticks to Weizen Bier.






We turn in early, tired from the heat and worries of the day. Tomorrow we should get back on track and ride over to the Romanian border.

... sound of the wind chimes outside our room (which later turned out to be the rigging flapping against the yacht masts). Absolutely beautiful! Oh, by accident I found another setting on my camera so hopefully the pictures will be more colorful from now on, I hope, lol. After spending the rest of the morning lazing outside on the shores of lake Balaton, I had a nap while Janet worked on her studies in preparation for lunch in town.
