Hottest day yet!! We've had amazing weather and apparently we're fortunate we came when we did. They had a horrible July with lots of rain and even golf ball sized hailstones that destroyed lemon, olive and grape crops and did damage to vehicles. Very freaky weather for them. While we've had beautiful sunny days with a little breeze most of the time, there have been clouds in the sky off and on. Today the humidity is up at about 80% and the ...

... Then later I was sitting having lunch and a man walked past me and took my photo. Very odd indeed. I wonder who it is they think I am. Another thing I love about Italy is their love for animals. There are dogs and cats welcome everywhere. At dinner last night we met a lovely corgi who is a stray dog but a frequent visitor to the restaurant and his name was Giovanni. Hilarious name! They've got loads of stray dogs and cats but the whole community seems ...

You wonder how they manage to pick the fruit and carry it down, but they do! Around each ...

We shared pizza Bianco with fresh prosciutto and Vino Rossi la casa, which I ordered all by myself as Sam was talking to Luca on the phone at that time. The restaurant was beautiful and it was a cheap lunch and gave us a good respite from walking. Eventually, we made our way back to the hotel and had a siesta. As requested, the house maid had made the 2 x single beds into one king size bed. We were fast asleep ...

Brendan feeling much better and eats a good sized breakfast, still mostly yogurt, a little ham protein and tea cookies. Take extras, as usual, for lunch. Check the bus schedule for Ravello and Cetera, then head out to look at housing. We go to first one, no one at the desk, we look around, see a cleaning bucket outside a door and knock on the door. Cleaning lady inside the room tells us where the main office ...
