... us a strange moment this morning, as I said it's very modern, with shutters working electronically, radio buttons beside the bed etc, this morning I got up to have a shower and pulled a cord in the bathroom. Apparently it was an emergency cord, I thought it was an extractor fan, so the telephone went asking "is there an emergency ?" Another good day of class, they are having us play some games that help with vocabulary, etc.. and it really helps the lesson 'stick' hopefully even when I'm not here ;-)

Half a croissant stuffed with a divine cream and sprinkled with cinnamon and accompanied by a tray of mini pastries. I was full round about the end of the lamb dish ...

... you must do the drive. It is not an exaggeration to say it is one of the wonder drives of the world, a piece of engineering marvel. Think of the Afton Mountain I-64 cut through the rocks, that does not compare to the miles and miles along the coast. Jaw dropping straight down drops, cliffs with really old stairs cut into them all the way down to the sea, lemon groves galore on terraces built on the ...

    Sunny day in Capri

... the trip up wasn't my favourite part of the day. Especially when it stopped when about halfway. Couple of very steep parts with what looked like steep cliff off to one side - wasn't looking too closely at that stage!
Amazing views over the island, and back over the bay of Naples. Just a shame there is a layer of smog all around the bay. No wonder some of the sunsets have looked quite cool.
The trip back down the ...
