        ... to put her feet up. A visit to the museum was on the afternoon agenda which is housed in the castle it was interesting how many paintings of Madonna & Child can be housed in one place. The most impressive parts were the original wall decorations and the walk around part of the castle walls with great views
        of the town in the evening light. She was pleased to be back to check on the patient once more and put her feet up after so many stairs.

        ... to the Monument cemetery. A truly different kind of cemetery from those in the states. A very large area with big headstones, mausoleums, monuments and photos of the dead. The Italians take funerals and remembering the deceased very seriously. Our last stop was at the kitschy Balcony of Juliette. Although a fictional character of Shakespeare, this is a popular stop with a balcony for the tourists.

        ... food was amazing, the waiters were jerks. I think they like to purposely be rude to Americans for no reason. Once we finished lunch, we wandered around and went on a gondola ride. Definitely worth it. It lasted for about 15-20 minutes and our gondola driver(?) was named Jacob (but the Italian version, so I won't even try to spell it).
