... seen such small dorados and small tunas I felt very sad.

As the days in Sri Lanka were coming to the end of this amazing trip we were bit hungry for some activities and new adventures and tomorrow we are off to Malaysia.

Must see: whales watching, turtle farm, Kannnelyia rain forest

Things to bring: panty liners - it is very hard to find them, tampons - mission impossible in Hikkaduwa, good suns ...

... was a bit better and made it out in the afternoon to have a look around. We went to a market that is popular in Mumbai, there was a lot of fresh fruit, veg and meat, we saw fresh chicken for sale but was just on a warm side with flies all over it which makes you realise why you have to be careful where you eat! The next day we both felt better and wanted to make the most of the day, some things were closed due to a navy patrol but we got a real deal on ...

... weaving my way through the sprawling, but surprisingly scenic Colombo I rode into the middle of Sri lankas equivalent of the Tour de France.
Again, the coppers were everywhere stopping traffic for the cyclists and then racing on to control the next lights or intersection. I snuck in between a couple of support vehicles and got a clear run through the rest of the city and the next thing I was on Galle Rd, which hugs the coast heading south.
