... winding and twisting before we emerged into a more natural park where dirt avenues were lined with tall aged trees. The surrounding of Malianske Lazne is parkland breaking into forest. A place to return to I think for walking and skiing. And so we strolled feeling our way rather than knowing it until again we hit city streets and stood opposite the city park. Somehow we had completed a loop climbing the narrow streets again we stopped at the restaurant which adjoins our hotel ...

Our day began in Cesky Krumlov and is to end in Malianske Lazne. The spelling of these names certainly is not easy and I am afraid our pronunciation bears no resemblance to Czech speak. Emma does much better than I in terms of both. ... Tepla Monastery.

This Monastery or Abbey is the second oldest of its kind in the Czech Republic and has been around since 1193. My favorite part of the monastery was the library. This library had thousands of books that dated back as far as 850 A.D. and some were even in old ancient languages. After the monastery we checked into our accommodation for the weekend, the Villa Anita. This was set up like a B&B and it was nice to not be in a hostel again. That evening we ...

We arrived in Karlovy Vary and we went for a walk around town and their tradition is healing spa water.

Some of it is about 72 degrees and then you drink it and it heals you, I don't believe it.

But I am DEFINITELY NEVER drinking that water again.

The next day is Zaras BIRTHDAY, but the funny thing is I slept in until about 9:00 until they
    woke ...
