... lighter selections, there were plenty of people there so we didn't feel we had to do our bit. We started with Bresaola, rocket and parmesan and smoked goose breast, followed by a lamb casserole for Laurie and veal with porcini mushrooms for Meg, we just had to have another bottle of yesterday's Montepulciano. We came back for a little lie down before going to a local bar and then a small bowl of pasta for ...

The milk from the buffalo is richer at this farm compared to most because they pamper their buffalo with mozart, baths, and massages. A happy buffalo makes for better milk. I also got some gelato which was equally as amazing. ...

Science Camp - Italian Style

Let me start by saying this was more of a science excursion than a camp... Wednesday dawned bright and early...okay, well not really.  Our journey began as school started at 9 am.  How else do you travel when at a private school, but by luxury coach, of course!  38 students, 5 teachers, 3 parents (and a partridge in a pear tree) all excited to embark on a wonderful trip to the Abruzzo National Park. It didn't take long for the Roman skyline to melt away ...
