It was raining today and really cold so we took in the local museum full of Roman antiquities found in recent local excavations, it was small but still astounding that it was over 2000 years ago and they were so civilised. The milk from the buffalo is richer at this farm compared to most because they pamper their buffalo with mozart, baths, and massages. A happy buffalo makes for better milk. I also got some gelato which was equally as amazing. ...

... kids needed to be out in nature, just walking, exploring, and breathing the clean air!  Because most of them are so well-traveled, I forgot that they are really, truly city kids.  What cracked me up the most occurred on the bus ride through the park on Wednesday.  We came around a bend and two boys behind me said, "Ms. Schneider!  Ms. Schneider!  Did you see the horse?"  I hadn't, but as we got to the other side of the bushes blocking my ...
