We both had crab cream, then Simon had tuna tartare, filet mignon and creme brûlée. I had baked Camembert, seabass and crab and a Mille Feuille which was basically baked caramelised apples so I'm not quite sure what they think Mille Feuille means. ... for the Caribbean. Eastern Dominican Republic was due to experience the storm during the night. And by 9, it was proper chucking it down with rain and thundering and lightning. I didn't like it much. It rained really heavily most of the night but it wasn't very windy so the storm wasn't that intense. We've woken up this morning and it looks like the rain has stopped so hopefully it has passed over. What drama. I hope it doesn't interrupt today's lilo ...

The day of our departure, we’re packed and ready to go. Flight is at 2pm, and it is 10:30am. I finally get a phone call from the wife. She’s at the doctor with Aaron. Verdict: fever down, lungs clear, ears clear, strep culture negative.
With confidence skyrocketing (sarcasm), we head off to the airport. No real hassles checking in, other than the fact that the boy requires more luggage ...
