Promptly at 8:30am, they arrived, and we were on our way. Our first stop was to a dance show jut outside of town. It was a traditional Balinese story of good and evil complete with a dragon, evil spirits, jovial men, and even a few maidens. It lasted about an hour. It turns out that the story is told once every ten years when the telling takes anywhere from 6 to 12 hours. I'm glad ours was a bit shorter.
