No problem driving to Charlotte on Sat. 5/3, leaving our car at the motel and catching their shuttle to the airport. The flights on Lufthansa to Munich, then on to Belgrade were smooth and on time. ... Two big takeaways.

1.) Belgrade has been destroyed 44 times. As a result, the architecture in Belgrade is all over the place. On a given block you could get Ottoman influences next to modern architecture next to Soviet era next to a beautiful Viennese building. Cool stuff.
