Today we did a day and a half trek in one day which took about 9 hours. We followed the Langtang River back to Lama Hotel. ... are just "hills". Dotted all over the mountains and hills are tiny little villages, fields with food growing in rows, and of course monastaries and temples. Oh so, when we got off the plane in India they gave us marigold garlands. Here they gave us white silk scarves. Nepal only opened its doors to foreigners in 1950, so it feels a lot more "untouchced" and certainly less British than India.
