4 weeks down and we arrived at our final destination of Sao Paulo. Sao Paulo is a mega metropolis and is definitely the lesser visited of the two major cities of Brazil. I had heard Sao Paulo described as the "ugly stepsister" of Rio so my expectations of the city were pretty low. As a result, we had decided to make our visit to Sao Paulo fairly brief. The Lonely Planet had a simple self guided walking tour of the area so we followed that as well as some tips from Sarah and Edo and filled in our day nicely. Sao Paulo is certainly not one of the pretty cities of Brazil and has more than its fair share of homeless people ...
