... and we trapse off round the park, which in all fairness is reasonably lovely. There are people selling kebabs with cheese for 80p, (I dont buy one here either) and hats depicting the minions from despicable me. I am very tempted to buy one as they are very silly. The whole park is centered by a giant fountain, in which the are some people are washing, wading and swimming. There's also a bunch of busts/statues of important Philippinos. ... higher note, I am grateful for the people I have met her in Manila and will miss them when I leave in a few days. They were gracious, joyful hosts, without whom my stay would have felt much longer and without whom I most certainly wouldn't have embarrassed myself in a karaoke bar eating the fried constitution of a barn swine. Friends, indeed.

... About 30 minutes into the drive, we decided that heading to Tagaytay was not such a great idea because what its known for is its views and the rain would not allow for that today.

After a 20 minute wait my taxi finally arrived and the doorman gave him the address of the restaurant.
