Well, I didn't expect much for around $35 a night. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Other than the bed being a little too hard, I enjoyed my stay here. The room came with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. If I have to come back to Indianapolis again for an extended stay, I would come back.

I looked at the weather before I left for the track and saw that the high was going to be about 55°. I decided on wearing jeans, but I took a pair of shorts along in case I got warm. I packed two monster sandwiches for lunch.
I arrived early and proceeded to my seat, but was misdirected to a different section. I showed the Yellow Shirt ( …
Since I got in early yesterday, I tried again today. Several cars that just arrived before me unsure of getting in early. I drove around them and went to the infield. I took a quick walk through the garages and saw Simon Pagenaud being interviewed. He was the winner last weekend in the Grand Prix. When it was over, he was signing autographs and …

The speedway was to open at 10:00, but I was there at 9:10. I drove in and expected to be turned away. Nope, they waved me into the infield. The Yellow …
I knew they were calling for rain, but I had hoped it would pass over the Speedway!! No such luck. It was sprinkling when I left the hotel. By the time I got to the track, it was picking up. I got to the Pagoda area and got into some cover. After a while I took a walk through the garages. Most of the doors were closed and there were few people …
I arrived just after the Speedway opened. I was going to take the free parking in Third Turn, but a Yellow Shirt told me to try parking at the Museum. If they didn't want me there, they would send me back. When I arrived, the Yellow Shirt was too far away to see my credentials and just waived me into the lot. I got premium parking!!!!
