Before leaving our Hotel this morning, we stocked up on some pastry delights from their in-house pastry shop (at around 10c each and freshly baked). It was to be another non-stop drive to our next accommodation town - Brno.

Brno, population and area, is the second largest city in the Czech Republic, the largest Moravian city, and the …

... woofers! She is a very hard worker (apparently) and absolutely lovely. She can speak fluent English and German and Czech of course, and teaches all three languages in her spare time. I wonder when that happens to be. She would be so busy! She looked amazing too, fighting fit and very witty. We all had a nice chat. Em had a conference in Brno that she was attending hence us arriving so early. Our train was departing at 9.39am so we collected some supplies for the ride, had ...

... a hitch hiking adventure from there. And sadly this failed. We then walked 14Kms to ems place, which took us a little over three hours. Through lots of little small towns we walked, and in places, through complete darkness. Although it was long, it was ok, not too wet or cold thankfully. We just soldiered on and wished we had our bikes...what an adventure. We were just so lucky that a. We had the iPad with a map of Czech on it from our cycling adventure and b. we found a ...

... delicious and amounted to about 5 Aud each. Good value. At the end we topped it off with a berry cake yum! We then decided that it would be nice to see a movie. And most of the movies were in English with Czech subtitles. We decided to see the end of the world and went to buy our tickets. 'Unfortunately there is a problem and we cannot show this film,' replied the lady behind the counter. Sigh. We then decided to visit the ...

If they weren't fit or strong enough to dig or do work they would die in gas chambers. Also if they were young they wouldn't care and they would probably be put to death by the Nazis and they wouldn't care less. Cyclone b is the gas they would use to kill them. Over all I thought that the camp was very sad and not a happy ...

Brilliant Hotel just outside the old city

This new boutique hotel is situated just a short walking distance outside the Old City. The streetscape is unappealing but the building is modern, secure and well appointed. Breakfast, wi-fi and secure parking are included in tarriff. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Cannot go wrong with this accommodation.
