'Kuta Craziness'

After spending the night in Sydney International Airport with no sleep, we arrived in Kuta, Bali for our next adventure. Unfortunately for us a plane a few hours before us was forced to land because some drunk Auzzie fella had a few too many and thought the cockpit was the toilet. Really!! Because of this the airport was closed for 4 hours! It was mayhem when we got there and it was already 9 PM. We ...

Uluwatu would be the first of many temples visited: Goa-Gajah, Titra Empul, Gunung Kawi, Ke Goa Lawah, and Batukaru. Many were infected with tourists, but some had moss-covered steps that whispered ...

Our batik class was one of my favourite experiences of the trip so far. Starting with our simple hand-drawn design, which we then transferred to cloth, we applied wax using a canting tool to draw over our pencil lines. Stamps, dipped in wax, were also used to create ...

Great place for the price. 5 minute walk to Kuta beach, 5 minute walk to the nightlife. Decent little pool and great 2nd floor restaurant. Rooms were big and clean. Bathrooms however had big open window to the outside so mozzies made bathroom visits short and sweet. Otherwise great place, will stay here on next Bali visit probably
