... It is an inspiration to me, and so unexpected, that my dear son Ed is proving an inspiration with his positive attitude throughout his walking tiredness. ... to Penzance. It was quite a hike. We took a detour through the Westons- Super-Mare (where Angus' great grandfather went to school) and also drove through Plymouth which has a stunning bridge over the River Tamar (actually reminded me of Launceston in Tassie too!). It is surprising the number of impressive bridges we have passed over. As I'm always driving we don't have photos but I think a book of UK bridges would be quite interesting- so ...
