    ... volcano we had one more night crossing to reach Vanuatu’s capital, Port Vila.     ... a taxi came to pick me up.

    I'm glad to say my day got progressively better. The tour was fantastic, absolutely exhausting but well worth it. My tour guide was Christian. We first trekked through the hills for an hour or so, across wooden steps, muddy paths and a bamboo bridge, seeing waterfalls.     ... Mailys and I did at the front, where there was a rest area.

    There's a limit of course to how comfortable a floor is going to be, but all things considered I slept pretty well. At around 5.30am these women started to laugh much to the annoyance of a lot of us and some people tried shushing them to no avail. I actually found all this really funny, the south pacific must be mellowing me. I also have a greater tolerance and almost a like for animals!
