... and found this marvellous restaurant right on the marina called Quaylime. The food was amazing and we could sit and watch the yachts sail in and out. We are leaving early in the morning to go to Newcastle, so not a late night. Can't wait to go to Newcastle and see our friends Donal and Alison. It must be about 25 years since we saw them last in Aberdeen. Roll on another day and another wonderful adventure...................

We've walked the coastal path in both directions and been surprised by how rocky the coastline is in these parts, taken the scenic drive down south to Camden Haven where we met the friendliest taxi driver in the world and baulked at paying yet another entry fee to a national park, visited a local brewery that made a mean Indian Pale Ale ...

... seems a lot but is good for here. It was good. Then we walked along the beach area in the dark and it was surrounded by rocks which were all painted like graffiti but mostly very artistic and it went for ages. We will have to have another look in the daylight. We really enjoyed our stay with Jen and Jim they want us to go again and for longer. Come next year for three months they said. ... 3 minutes. My request to ride to the steps just to take a picture was a regular occurrence so there was no big issue. Meanwhile, the hot winds where howling around the buildings, it was best to get away quick before I would be caught with blocked roads and leave my planned ferry trip to Manly for another time.
