The aim today was to drive to the Green Mountains in Vermont - the **** sat nav we've hired likes to take us on long routes so today's drive was 6 hours long! This included driving the length of Manhattan in rush hour in heavy rain and getting lost in a car park. Luckily ...

      ... chocolate pieces.

It was then onto the airbrush tattoo section, where I got a cute little blue elephant on my back. I had a bit of fun with Mum and Dad with that one :). We walked around for a little longer, and then headed home to try our apples. We finished most of them, but man that is a lot of sugar! Food is definitely bigger in America!

Some more reruns later and we decided to hit the hay. Peace out from Rutland, Vermont ...

      Chill Day #2

So today was pretty much the exact same as yesterday; chill, explore, and chill some more (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it :P). Armed with a stomach full of toast and grape jam (because apparently that's popular up here, and not as weird as it sounds), today's reruns of choice were Law and Order SVU.

After a while we decided to go exploring again, so today, instead of stepping out of the hotel and going left, we stepped out and went right. We found a Bed Bath ...
