    Welcome to Canada! We took the ferry from Cape Vincent to Wolfe Island, entering Canada. We then had to cycle to the otherside of the island to take another ferry to Kingston. From Kingston, we cycled to Wellington in Prince Edward County, an Island south of Ontario. We cycled about 85km that day. We camped in Doug and Shirley's backyard: They have a beautiful house right on the lake.

    ... t seem so necessary anymore /'been there/done that' camping ...and besides - really "the Trip" was over!!Ps re: pics...fellow cruiser, Rob culled his 13,000 ( and you thought I was bad!!) and sent me Dropbox folders of the itinerary stops...so I now have an elaborated ( and much better pics than mine!!) 'trip memory library'!!..much appreciated.
    So next day ...Thursday ... last leg home to the 'other' cabin: unlocked the ...

    From the very first day that I arrived at Headwaters the weather has been amazing, even to the point where I almost started complaining that it was too hot, something I did not expect to happen so soon after my Canadian winter experience.     17 days until Morgan and I leave for our first backpacking adventure. We will be flying out of Montreal into Paris, the 6 weeks following will take us to Spain,France, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Brussels, and possible a few other stops song the way.

    Both old gals tax returns sent in. Had to do paper for both. Mailing costs over 4$ for one. Drank Barossa Valley red wine last two nights, getting in the swing of things. Dog recuperating well.
