... Beatles played nearly 300 shows. It was a pretty surreal experience to sit watching a local guy play some Beatles covers on the exact stage the band used to play on. Another exhibit we saw was part of the Maritime Museum on the docks. It was a museum dedicated to the story of black slavery - slaves in America, UK, France and other nations who felt the need to take humans from Africa and own them. Then we rush to Albert Dock & the Maritime Museum and they announce closing when we are there so I hightail it to the Titanic exhibits but luckily still had a half hour to quickly peruse. Managed to do some reading and seeing all the stuff they had which was so cool. It's the only chance I get to see stuff about it and Liverpool is where it was registered so it has a rich history attached to it. Wondering about the title of this post? Well Liverpool is ...

... daughters) and we went for a tour around elsecar where nana was from. I took a picture of the house they lived in etc. it was nice, but a bit boring.. & confusing too! we then went back to Jo's house for a drink before coming back to Julia's where we sat and talked again for hours! Feeling disappointed I'm leaving them as they are such great people! Definitely plan to come again & think I may have managed to convince Julia to come to nz in the next year or 2 ...
