      Liverpool

A travel blog entry by travelingjess on Feb 28, 2015

What can I say about Liverpool? It is a port city, historical, industrial city. It has a lot of full bars, even on a Sunday. And that's not a good thing From what iv seen its a hard working town. From what I read, Liverpool is a very safe city. It doesn't ...

Liverpool was a balance between York and Manchester. The city life definitely accessible but it was still cosy and romantic. We enjoyed walking along the docks and looking at the ships moored along the shore of the river whilst devouring some epically delicious homemade fudge!

Highlights definitely include the evening spent at the Cavern Club singing and dancing to Beatles tribute songs and the Tuk Tuk drive through the city.

... gel) 'exploded' on me after getting slightly damaged when traveling home on the Bike Bus from France this summer - was like sticky brown honeycomb stuff spewing out - very unpleasant after a long cycle ride to get off the bike and find it all over my shorts etc..... Hopefully this (non-gel) version of the same saddle will behave itself!!!
Pedals - using easy clip in/out Shimano ones - only converted to these in the last couple of months - and surprised how much I like ...

      Onwards and Northwards

A travel blog entry by bollinger_babe on Nov 10, 2014

This morning I was very tired and it was difficult to get out of bed, probably due to the lost hour and the fact that the mornings are getting darker the further north we go. So it was about 9.40am before I got out of my pit, and got washed and dressed. We then decided to go and get some exercise, so we went up and did five laps (equivalent to one mile) round the promenade deck in the crisp air.

Then it was back to our cabin to get our Fred Olsen ...
