It was the perfect night, and much more enjoyable then a fancy beach dining experience we would have paid hundreds for back home or in the Caribbean. Today was special in many ways, but the part of this trip I am enjoying the most is being alongside Hubby as we experience the food, culture, and memories of his younger ...

On our return to the boat we then made Krantongs (not to be confused with crampons) - floating decorations made from banana tree, folded banana leaves, orchids, marigolds and other grasses and petals. ... down side streets, a Temple and a breather from beaches. Our evenings were spent in a couple of bars with karaoke and pool tables, tattoo parlour where Rach had a Bamboo Tattoo on her shoulder as does Angelina Jolie, myself & Danny nearly getting a tattoo but left with a Henna and back down to the crazy Phuket Patong Beach nightlife area so Rachel and Danny could see it for themselves. The one thing that sticks in our mind from Phuket was the very odd toilet experience we all ...

... heading back to Phuket town. We both said we were glad we weren't stopping in Patong, so I suppose the hostel can't be that bad. We've also found a really nice cafe where I've been able to get my fill of lasagne and bangers and mash which is an added bonus. Next stop is an early morning flight to Bangkok for 2 nights, then onto Pattaya for 3 weeks for Christmas, New Year and our Ryan's wedding, so we'll update again in the New Year. Until then Merry Christmas, don't get too ...
