    ... ball in the bed in terrible pain, it was really scary and I felt useless and upset for him. I threw on some clothes and ran to the front lobby where.. There was no one! It was now 330 am o started telling hello??? A young Thai guy came but soon realized limited English I was trying to mimic vomiting and diarrhea and where is a pharmacy of somewhere or can buy something, he wasn't understanding and I was getting mad. Finally he got it oh pharmacy 8 am.. Uhhh what? Nothing is open ...

    ... where we anchored about 500 m from the island and went snorkelling for 3/4 hr. The water was a brilliant blue, so clear and lots of pretty fish were around. We were taken into Phi Phi where we had a smorgasbord lunch of traditional Thai food. We had 1 hr to look around at stalls, beach etc before departing for Maya bay where we had an 1 hr to sim and explore the Island, walking to the other side ...

    ... I got along fantastic, and Cindy got some much needed space away from me! At the end of it all, I got my Open Water certification, lost some weight and never really explored Patong at all outside of the first night. Cindy has been so understanding of my desire to do this and never complained once about the time I was away. I would test her understanding and support of my scuba diving even more at our next stop. Hello and goodbye - it's now time to move ...
