    ... s window. I made reservations for us for dinner there by calling them directly. They are on Open Table, but Open Table said they had no openings that night. I'm glad I called. There were lots of TVs around the restaurant with the Redskins/Eagles game on. It was funny to see all these Cowboys fans cheering for the Redskins, but their win helped the Cowboys playoff chances. Food was good and plentiful; service was fine. Prices were okay, too.

    First night "roughing it" in the tent was fairly comfortable. Roughing it is not quite accurate, since we have a big ole air mattress and soft sheets and pillows from home. But there is quite a bit of stooping involved. Breakfast at the campsite and then off towards Arlington, TX.

    Leon's school schedule had presented one big problem so far......He has football practice in the morning before classes start, and not enough time to style his hair! The guys on the team told him to get an easy cut so that he didn't have to worry about his hair. So, Leon, Gretchen and I went to get Leon's hair cut.
