    ... century English paintings, and some amazing Wedgwood and Chinese ceramics, we had a look at the church and a walk through the gardens, the roses still blooming - and even scented! And then of course a sit down and drink at the pub. We still had time for a last walk along the cycle track, and a last delicious dinner with Omnia. And even caught a new New Tricks episode!! Now off to bed and ready for new adventure ...

    ... where we get a chance to pull a pint behind the bar. The pub is so much smaller than it looks on screen and when you go through the toilet door you end up in Tyrone’s kitchen!




    Then it was on to the Street itself which was quite surreal……it is all so familiar. It’s also impressive that it’s not 'fake’ but all made with bricks and mortar and those cobbles are really hard to walk on! ...

    Slightly grey and a few drops in the air Saturday morning. Weather predicted to clear up later, so after breakfast we set off into the city again to see the Walker Art Gallery, and the Library, which are all in a group near the World Museum we saw on Friday.
