      ... visited a few more places for snacks during the day...Infinity for vegan lasagne and salads; Filfil for felafel plate (really delicious); and a pie/pasty place which had vegan options (and all pastires were 1/2 price after 5:30pm!! ). Eddie said his favourite food so far was the wholemeal pasty. It is really nice to have something 'traditional' like that.

      As we walked home this evening it was cold and windy with a little sleet. We had such a great day by the sea :)

      ... in the world….the Uyunni Salt Flats and for this reason only many tourists flock here to see this natural phenomenon.It is generally because of this ,that Bolivians are used to seeing tourists on a fairly large scale.Bolivia really wants to do well but it just does not have that natural wealth of the other South American states.

      ... over time, the sea no longer reaches the huts so these approximately 50 sheds sit on the beaches like a dark remnant of the past.

    • Bexhill - a lovely little village on the beach where we stop for dinner at an Italian Restaurant, and you could almost swear you were in the Mediterranean or south or Italy.

      It was a welcomed sight to see Jess and her dad waiting for me, as I know I have done for her so many times before (except she was wearing clothes when I just wear my pjs) and once the excited greetings were over we headed to the car to make our way to little Crawley Down.       ... Channel was like! Turns out it's pretty cold, but not so cold that it reddens your skin like the Pacific. It was salty too! We were having so much fun that we lost track of time, and we realized that we'd have a rough time making it back to the guest house and to the bus station. We tried to run up the beach, but the rocks were stabbing my feet through my tennis shoes, so it was a little impossible. I don't know how vacationers find it relaxing at the height of summer! ...
