Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

    Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

    Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

Another amazing experience here in Jacksonville. As part of the Veterans Day Celebrations many of the Australian Naval contingent in Jacksonville Florida gained access to tickets for a special concert by Country Music Superstar Tim McGraw for Military members and their families. With thousands of others we lined up to get access to the concert area. Without the added hassle of little children, this event was for people aged 10 years and over. ...

On the 15 of June at 11:06 am we were on the road going to Kingsley Plantation. Kingsley Plantation is located at Fort George Island Cultural State Park, which is north east of Jacksonville.

Mum, Dad, Zoe and I finally arrived at Kingsley Plantation, it took us 45 Mins to get here but it was worth it. On the way we hopped on a ferry that had cars, motor bikes and some bicycles. This was Zoe's and my first time on a vehicle ferry. For lunch we want to Sandollar, it was ...
