    Finding Peace

Life seems to be a series of ***********s learned the hard way. But I also see God most clearly in the beautiful messes that make up this world, so I'm incredibly thankful for the heartaches, headaches, and bad breaks of this life. They remind me that this is not my home. Most days I can find that peace which surpasses all understanding and that is joy to me (considering I'm not a very emotional person I ...

... I flew from Perth to Florida at the end of April, and my lab work officially started last week, ironically on the day of my 40th birthday. What a way to celebrate!

I'm drowning in hippo dung, but things are going well so far. Lots of exciting information will be forth-coming soon! And I am sure I will have time to have an adventure or two while I am here, so there may also be some more fun travel blogs in the future. But ...

On the 15 of June at 11:06 am we were on the road going to Kingsley Plantation. Kingsley Plantation is located at Fort George Island Cultural State Park, which is north east of Jacksonville.

Mum, Dad, Zoe and I finally arrived at Kingsley Plantation, it took us 45 Mins to get here but it was worth it. On the way we hopped on a ferry that had cars, motor bikes and some bicycles. This was Zoe's and my first time on a vehicle ferry. For lunch we want to Sandollar, it was ...

Our First Day is Always Interesting....

Even though we started prepping for this trip several weeks ago, it was definitely tough getting out of town on our first day... and of course we had a little excitement which is what seems to happen on all of our trips the first day.

We have been wrestling with our bike rack for the last 3+ years, so I broke down and bought a new fancy Thule bike rack. Our old rack was such a pain to load and unload the bikes that we just never used them. I got the ...
