Liverpool was a balance between York and Manchester. The city life definitely accessible but it was still cosy and romantic. We enjoyed walking along the docks and looking at the ships moored along the shore of the river whilst devouring some epically delicious homemade fudge!
Highlights definitely include the evening spent at the Cavern Club singing and dancing to Beatles tribute songs and the Tuk Tuk drive through the city.
Couldn’t get out of my pit this morning which wasn’t really a surprise, after a late night and lots of booze. :-( At least the weather was a lot calmer and the skies brighter.
Today was our last day on the Boudicca (boo-hoo) so we just had to make the most of the rest of our fantastic cruise, as well as find some time today to do our packing.

The magician, Steve Price, was truly excellent. His tricks and illusions were very well done, and were all new to us. He also performed a non-stop funny patter and got people out of the audience to help him. We enjoyed his show very much and are looking forward to seeing him again later in the cruise.
We finished the evening off by going along to the Lido Lounge and doing the quiz. We were joined by another couple, Malcolm and ...
... s and three glasses of free ‘champagne’. However, since we’re travelling all-inclusive, it’s all gratis, so the thrill of getting a freebie isn’t quite the same.
Then it was off to dinner, where once again we ate a sumptuous meal and I enjoyed a glass of chilled Lanson’s champagne, to celebrate our 100,000 nautical miles.
