    ... I needed to get a jacket that would keep the rain out and I needed a new pair of walking boots. It was a nice walk down the valley of the river Ribble but it was very muddy and so Treacle and I were absolutely filthy when we arrived at the shop.     07:45 and the rain woke us up bouncing off the roof. Jayne opened the window blinds to see a queue of people waiting to set up for a car boot. Blimey, fair play to them. By the time we had dressed and had breakfast the rain had stopped so we had a quick walk around the tat on display. After that we took off and stopped off in Windermere for a quick look around.     ... a music and fireworks extravaganza on!" Bugger! Plod on love, plod on. We finally saw signs for a site as we approached Garstang. Turned out to be a really nice site and as it was getting late by now we walked into town to find a pub to eat.
