... the elephants, just a bit closer to the ground. The carabao are walked to the water twice a day, to drink and bathe. It was an experience to see and be so close, but not as fascinating as the elephants. When they were done, it was my turn to ride back...but my first challenge was climbing on! I woke up to a banging. It was still dark outside. Our alarm hadn't gone off. 0440am. On holiday. It's not normal to get up this early but we are making a habit of it in the Philippines. The idea was to get up early so we miss the worst of the Manila traffic because it would be much worse a little later. ... in to see uncle Bob at the school to let him know about our toilet. Before Ravi even left the school the security guard (who is also our caretaker) ran out to his bike and was already heading to the pooey mess before Ravi had even left. We were very well looked after.
Breakfast was pork, omlette, bacon, wild bananas (so small David could deep throat two) and pandesal, my new favourite bread.
Yummy breakfast and then to uncle Bob at the school ...
