... Station , you can ride a trycle from there. ( Negotiable but most of the time , the fare is 150.00 ) better if you have some relatives or friends living there because its really far.

  • The entrance for Biak-na-Bato is around 30.00 for minimum , there is also a fee for parking.
  • Don't forget to buy pasalubong , you can see them everywhere especially if you are in Oriente Trycle Station.

    ... the elephants, just a bit closer to the ground. The carabao are walked to the water twice a day, to drink and bathe. It was an experience to see and be so close, but not as fascinating as the elephants. When they were done, it was my turn to ride back...but my first challenge was climbing on! I only have little legs, and even with a short run up and big jump, I completely failed when trying to jump on. After laughing and videoing my ultimate fail, Chris did give me a leg up. It was ...

    ... children ahead of us. They were getting quite excited as we were approaching and Jane commented that they were plotting something. She was right. Several of them sheepishly came forward to Jane and gave her flowers as the rest of the kids ran of giggling. It was so sweet :)

    We headed back home for a few beers and a fairly early night. Rodel would be collecting us tomorrow at 4am for our two night trip away to Puerto Galera.

    ... in to see uncle Bob at the school to let him know about our toilet. Before Ravi even left the school the security guard (who is also our caretaker) ran out to his bike and was already heading to the pooey mess before Ravi had even left. We were very well looked after.

    Breakfast was pork, omlette, bacon, wild bananas (so small David could deep throat two) and pandesal, my new favourite bread.

    Yummy breakfast and then to uncle Bob at the school ...
