... levels of advancement. Slum areas one second, large modern hotels the next. One thing that tickled me is that one of the biggest tv stars here is an 8 year old chubby girl called Ryzza who won Little Miss Philippines two years ago. She is on advertising posters all over the place.

The green man here is animated. He walks, but then gets faster when the lights are ready to change until he is sprinting to highlight the sense of urgency.

After market we took the jeepney to Alex's salon who is a famous hairdresser in the Philippines, and friend of Uncle Bob, we all needed a freshen up. David went first. Alex opted to give him a Filipino style 'high top'. I had a good trim. Alex told me my hair was nice, but really dry - it is! I blame cheap shampoo and being in the sun. Ravi had a 'shortcut'.
