Am zweiten Tag erklommen wir Schritt um Schritt den Stok-La (La = Pass) auf stolzen 4900m - traumhafte Sicht nach vier Stunden Wanderung. Nach einem steilen Abstieg und drei Minipaessen gelangten wir nach weiteren vier Stunden zur ersten Siedlung (Stok 3400m), wo wir erneut in einem Homstay uebernachteten.
Zurueck nach Leh ging es dann mit dem vollgestopften ...

zurueck vom Nubra Valley stand endlich meine wanderung am programm - der markha valley trek. normalerweise werden fuer die tour 8 tage/7 naechte geplant mit fuehrer und lastpferden oder -esel. ich waehlte die unuebliche variante vom osten nach westen.
die anreise nach Hemis war schon etwas schwierig - trotz bestaetigung ging anscheinend kein bus an diesem tag - deshalb kam ich nur die halbe strecke mit dem bus - weiter per autostopp - ist aehnlich wie in ...
