Onwards to Delhi
... over so had it boxed up and off we went to find someone who looked hungry !
We walked outside and saw an elderley homeless man , as we walked past he smiled and held him hands together saying - namaste - ( hello ) he didnt ask for money and I offered him the food , he said ' vegetarian' I nodded and he smiled and said ' Thank you'.
So thats our good deed for the day , the food was really good so hopefully he agrees !
Back on the Metro to go ' ...
GREETINGS FROM INDIA
... you was not the most enjoyable, but I guess to be expected. After the arch we headed for lunch in what must be the local drop off for all those on a tour of Delhi however we did enjoy a couple of good curries. From here the tour was over and we made our way home, not before asking to go to the shop to pick up some snacks. This had to be the bargain of the day as we got three packs of snacks (big ones) for under a pound! Crazyness. Good bye Tesco, hello India!

Day 187 Delhi
We spent most of this morning and early afternoon relaxing in our hotel room as outside is so unbelievably hot I'm scared I might melt. At about 3pm we left the hotel and got the metro to a famous outdoor market in Delhi. Riding the metro is a lot easier than you think being in an Indian city, there's air con and easy route maps. ... Despite my best efforts, I could not force my large backpack into the overhead metal “bin” area. This meant that I had to straddle the large bag in the front row seat and balance my smaller backpack on my lap. Incredible India
... cooked in the kitchen of Sashi, it was a superb experience and while we were preparing all the wonderful dishes she explained us a lot about today’s India. Of course we started of with a chai, but his was by far the best chai I had tried. The second dish we cooked were pakoras, vegetables and potatoes in a gram flour batter, which became my favourite street food afterwards, and eaten with various sauces and XXX.
