Gearing up for NZ!
... purchasing necessities, finding adequate activities to keep us occupied on the long journey, sorting sorting sorting, saying farewells, oh and PACKING...which has become my nightmare! All of this is in preparation for one long journey to the other side of the world.

Randolf Center, Vermont to Lake George, New York
We wake up today and it is a bit dryer, but we are still not seeing the sun. I get up early to spend an hour finalizing the blog entries, so they can be sent out this morning. We publish the entries through Maine, a bit later than we intended!
By mid-morning the skies have cleared some, and the girls are in the Rec Hall at the campground playing Ping Pong and ...
Time to turn around....
... Quebec and has been riding since May. She made us look like total fools, as she had nothing except a single backpack. After the rain, we loaded up for Albany, and are pleased to say that we reached our destination at the end of the day. When we finally got back to the car, we rode over 100 mi, in two days. And dad was not completely dead.... So now, we are on way to Lake Speculator to camp out. Goodnight ...

Im not to proud to say that it would be another 30 min before my dad would get there. Meeting Cousin Jim and touring Lake George
Today we awoke after having one of the best night's sleep the whole time!!
The hotel is beautiful, rooms are large and decor is very well suited to this historic town nestled in the mountains and built around the lake. We went downstairs for breakfast, we are the only guests right now in the hotel, in a few weeks this hotel will be fully booked and so will all the other hotels in the area, it is a really popular resort town and there will be thousands ...
