... appropriate. The royal rooms and spaces were fascinating (albeit a bit stuffy), but the engine room is what blew my mind. It was SPOTLESS! All brass and copper fittings, gauges and instruments, and what wasn't metal was brilliant white. It looked like you could do surgery in there. Golfing Mecca
Dragged ourselves out of bed by 8:00 so we could enjoy Ron's Spekky Brekky again- finally on the road at about 10. Drove over the firth then up to St Andrews via all the little towns and fishing villages along the way. Checked out the castle runs at St Andrews , then the Cathedral ruins. Followed up with a yummy ice cream in the main street then on to some golf course that is world famous.. Quick drive home and another cheap but yummy meal at "our Local" Stuffed!

If any of the crew is in the middle of a task and a member of the royal family is present, the crewman would have to freeze and not look at the family member. Edinburgh is a great city to visit. It reminds me of a smaller, friendlier London. For those of you who haven't made the trip, I highly recommend it. Edinburgh also scores points from me as it is a walkable city (though I did manage to somehow break my little toe there, making it less walkable, but that’s another story). There is something wonderful about cities you can just walk around and experience.
