... about 2-3 miles. Nice walk, and nice area. Lots of potential and as Dick read in TripAdvisor, not as much action on River Walk. There are a few restaurants and bars, but mostly the backside of buildings. We stopped a few people to get directions and advice. Summary

Drove 401 miles in 6.5 hours on day 1. Explored the city on day 2.

Woke up to another ****** day weather wise but we went into town anyway. The ...

... wi-fi. A good map of Venice is loaded. I wasn't able to activate the Boingo search. Rinse back at 83 minutes. Diane had all of her stuff spread out on the bed when I got back. Was it all going to fit? I suggested a walk. We went two miles, which got me over 10,000 steps. It all fit. The day was pretty relaxed. I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription, and ...

    Lucy's Vigil

... An analyst said because of her innumerable scars upon scars, she must've been a bait dog, one that dog fighters use to train other vicious canines.

Apparently then, Lucy's condition was too severe for the most recent owner to bother rehabilitating, so he or she decided to let the dog drown in our algae-infested lagoon. I think they could've at least put a gun to her head.

So the other day FOX news came by and covered the story (I ...
