This weekend my hosts have taken me to their second home, on the North Shore of the beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Lake Tahoe is in two states- Cali and Nevada. The Nevadan side suffers from gambling.

We travelled to the North- Dollar Point. It is about a 2-hour drive from Sacramento. They have a wonderful alpine style cabin although don't be fooled- it is ginormous.

... Clarkson, WA with me. David is also 70 years old and by his own admission this is the trip of a lifetime for him. He is starting in St. Louis at the beginning of the L.& C Trail and hoping to meet up with me at Great Falls. At this date he is in St Louis waiting for it to stop raining so he can start the 2000 mile trip to where l will be. With about a month before I leave for Montana I'm starting to feel a little anxiety over not training as hard as I should ...

... and getting the blog organised.

The catamaran sunset trip was just that. They hoisted the sails as soon. They were clear of the jetty. We sailed out towards the west and the setting sun. Unlimited champagne, too sweet, c******nay, OK etc was served by the crew. great fun with views to match and then back to the campsite and a fire and bowls of chilli.
