    I now officially have a trail name!
    For those who don't know, a trail name is often given to long distance hikers in the US, particularly those attempting big sections of the PCT or Appalachian trail, It makes it easier to identify people and is part of the whole culture. I've wanted one for a long time.

    PostScript from yesterday's blog. Jason thought a spa bath before bed would be nice. But, left the tap on and flooded bathroom and bedroom. Took 12 towels to clean up. Not sure what the maid cleaning room made of that. Anyway, bath was nice.

    ... headed north through the park through several 10-15 minute stops due to road construction. The route took me through Kings Canyon which also has numerous giant sequoias. From here I headed down the west side of the mountains which took me through numerous fields of fruit trees and wineries. I had lunch at a fruit stand just outside one of the fruit farms.     Zepher Cove we went inside the lounge where a really great two piece band played a variety of music. Yeah, as you can guess we danced a few turns on the dance floor.
