... we are just getting tired. When we arrived here today, we had lunch and then just crashed out for a couple of hours.

But the beaches here are to die for. A short walk along the cliff from the site at Ballina and we get to Sharpes Beach, sandy curved bay, nice waves to body surf in. Next day, bus into town and walked along the river front to another deserted beach for a paddle. In the ...

... is some competitions going on in the sea. We watch boat surfing. At around 12.30 wind picks up so we have lunch and then sit by the swimming pool. At 3.30pm a storm has picked up. What a storm! Sunday 24 November

Wakenup to blue skies. A lovely full day on the beach at last.

Well after fixing the TV reception the other day. I wake around midnight to the sound of running water. A water pipe in the van burst and flooded the cupboard. Lucky Jayco's **** build quality allowed the water to run out and do minimum water damage. So back to the Caravan repair shop and $21 later and no more water leak. What's next. So we had another walk along the beach and the boys had a good play before we headed to the pub for $2 pots. ...

Rain rain rain

A travel blog entry by samantha.mason on Jan 26, 2013

Saturday is Australia day and we moved up to Coffs Harbour, the weather was bad with heavy rain so when we saw Nambucca Head s sign posted on our way there we decided against it and continued onto Coffs. We parked up and there was a break in the rain when another shiny blue camper came and parked up next to us, a cute surfer looking Australian dude with long curly sun kissed hair got out, we started chatting and asking about places to park for the night over a nice ...
