    ... we had an early dinner with a friend of Martins, Julian, his wife & teenage girls who were flying back to London tonight after spending 2 weeks of half term in the Perth area, as you do! After a walk around a street food market we've come back at the end of a long da. Well you can all wake up now and look forward to the next episode which should include adventures with whales and maybe even dolphins and stingrays! Yallingup here we come.     We flew from Darwin to Perth on Weds, Sept 30, a 4 hour flight. It was immediately apparent that we had changed climates as Darwin was hot and Perth was temperate, even chilly. We stayed in a downtown hotel called Miss Maud's Swedish Hotel, in honor of Phyllis, her father, and their Swedish heritage.

    ... know is the local approximation to Tesco – getting plenty of water and emergency snacks in case we get stuck – and then back to the apartment.
