    I just totted up the total distance we pedaled between Rome and Canterbury - it comes to 1,892Km (or 1,182 miles).

    The ride from Canterbury to where Ian's car was parked near Gatwick was a further 137Km, split by the overnight stop at Tunbridge Wells.

    We have been told that due to the lost 14 hours, to medevac a passenger, we will not now go to Tortola. Apparently we will now go into St Marteen on the 17th instead of the 16th. We have to go there for refuelling and they can't get it in Tortola. A few people are upset and one lady with a daughter living on the island particularly so.
