... plenty of takers on it. Walked right along the seafront to where they were working on the protection of the coastline from those huge storms. Have built a high sea wall of concrete and the hills above it have been netted and planted to stop them being eroded. They are trying to protect the fossils that are found all along this part of the coast and stop them being washed away and lost to locals and tourists. Back home for a quiet afternoon of R&R and pack up for moving on ...

... There is a little bus that takes you up and down. Next went to Looee which was a disappointment as it is a river port and not very interesting. ... was quite dark in this narrow, deep cut section, and quite aptly named. This would have to be one of England's hidden treasures and well worth a visit. Superb! The roads we went on today will be ones the cyclists in the Tour of Britain ride on on Thursday.
