... was OK but definitely not great. This continued into the main course as Karl's pork chop was overcooked, his potato's were cold and my Chick Pea Curry dish over cauliflower - boiled and crumbled - was tasteless. I actually sent it back – something I never do. I had the mixed salad instead and it was again OK but nothing to write home about. ... day (afternoon) off, so after lunch, a chill in the common room and a quick swim in the lake, we went into Ellsworth for shopping and dinner! I fell into the Walmart trap again and spent waaaaay too much there on sweets and biscuits (and a few things I actually needed like deet and a mini basket ball for the cabin for when we get 10/10 for cabin inspections). ... Prudential building---mainly for the view and what a view it is! So cool that we have a appetizer and another bill $52....but during the meal, the fire alarm goes off---we immediately head to the stairs, Quinci for safety reasons and me thinking YES, we are out of the bill. But it is a false alarm and we go back to our seats before we reach the stairs.

Day 1
Xing left to early for us to rise and bid him farewell in person, but we hope our note sufficed. We headed back to Flour Café for breakfast - best egg sandwich and pecan roll ever! Don't believe us? Check the NY Times, Food & Wine, or Food Network.
