Saturday we left Koh Lanta and headed to the Thai/Malaysia boarder, Hat Yai, which I will write about in my next blog.
There isn't really much to say about Koh Lanta because there wasn't much to do, but it was a nice place to relax.

Some of the negative reviews we’d read about the place seemed over the top, and I get the impression they were written by people expecting a sanitised 5* holiday, which Koh Lipe can’t offer. What Koh Lipe does offer is good beaches, clean water and a whole host of bars and restaurants with a lovely laid atmosphere, either on Walking Street or right on the beach itself.
