        ... Yum is how to describe it. Tuna and salmon sushi, crumbed chicken with a truly awesome dipping sauce and tempura prawns. Definitely glad we decided to give it a go. The waiters were lovely (although we were the only guests at that stage :) ). At a little over $40aus including two beers was great value, especially considering what it would have cost in Australia.

        ... island's name was derived from two Malay words – helang meaning eagle and kawi meaning brown. The eagle, particularly the brahminy kite eagle is of great significance to the locals.         After a long wait at the airport in Kuala Lumpur and a flight at which they were strangely playing Christmas songs, I arrived in sunny Langkawi, where I did nothing but rest, eat, and wander around the shops and beaches. As far as nature goes, I did spot an eagle and a pretty black and yellow bird.

        ... a drink with Irene and Roy before dinner then to the Curzon afterwards to see the Headliners again. They did "My Generation", we've seen it in an earlier sector but it was very good :-) Up to the Crows Nest for one then back to the cabin early with a bottle of red and the footy :-) clocks go back half an hour tonight, can't remember ever having to be half an hour back or forward. So tomorrow we will be UK +5.5 until they go back half and hour tomorrow night! ...

        ... and blanket a large part of Kuala Lumpur.I go see the Petronas Towers but its really not worth going up them since the smoke blots everything out.Im only there for acouple of days and stay at Raizzys in Chinatown-a great hostel 195 ringitt for 3 nights-dont though stay in Room 306-its right next to the showers-when I was there a chinese woman decided to do her washing at 11.30pm!!!! Its right next door to the Hindu temple ...
