If that was not enough, because of the bus bridge we no longer had a clear window on the tracks to go directly into Luebeck. That necessitated having to make two additional train changes. After four train changes and a bus-bridge, we finally arrived in Luebeck, a bit more than two hours late, and it was raining. ...

Sweet town

The next morning, we drove from Hamburg to Lübeck, where my great-aunt lives. We went for a walk through the city but it was very cold, so we had to go to a cafe soon.
Later we met my aunt at the Niederegger shop, which is a very famous German Marzipan manufacturer. We stepped in for a coffee and extremely delicious cakes and bought some of the famoues Lübeck Marzipan specialities as a souvenir.
Then we continued our journey to Schwerin.
