we did a return trip too, and despite me raising my feet as high as possible I still kicked off some brancheS of a tree. It was such a rush!! My guide asked for the 3 dollar fee and it made me want to go 20 more times... But I didn't... My two dollar tip blew his mind which was really cute....

... no joke. you can really get in touch with your spiritual side, they have temples to meditate in tons of yoga and offer all kinds of crazy courses, sun workshops and moon workshops and astrology and tarot and hypnosis... we stumbled upon a really interesting talk by this aura-reading healer man about energies and ego and at the end we all hugged each other... such a good energy to that town, but not much to do unless you want to meditate or sell jewellery.

We stayed in a place called Encencia Nativa. It is a hostel that caters to surfers, but less than half the people there surfed. There was a ton of Canadian and over half a dozen Utards. It seems that one of them started an outreach project call project Salvador. Not really sure what they did but spend money in local communities and raise money for the cause. ... we also had to organise costumes for BJ's birthday, so we decided to head into town, even though it was the last thing you felt like doing as it was so super hot.
