Well it wasn't the best night's sleep that's for sure, but it could have been worse!

From the station in Malang we battled our way through the taxi drivers and walked to a local tour company called Sunrise Holidays who had good reviews on Lonely Plant and TripAdvisor...

We've booked ourselves on a full-on three day tour around Mt Bromo, Mt Ijen and the turtles at Sukamade. It's a fairly expensive at around $350 per person, but we reckon it will be way easier than trying ...

... effects because the rocks were hurting my feet as we crossed the river barefoot. The last part of the day was 'tubing' back to the village. ... glad I can eat really spices food (Sri Lanka sorted that for me) and join in with their culture! Three or four of the boys made the BBQ up and did all the cooking and I have to say it was delicious, they're must have been around 12 of us sitting in the Jungle Border which is literally just that, a guest house at the border of the jungle. We sang and celebrated and had a fun night which seems to be a regular occurrence, I'm having fun :)

... we had a yummy breakfast and walked and doughnut'd across the river to the waterfall. It was ice cold and strangely really great for our aching muscles. We also swam in the river whilst the guides and T tried to throw stones across the river to hit an elevated bottle. Terry won at this too, team England did very well during the trip!
We had a yummy lunch and fruit salad, the monkeys were dropping down to steal fruit all the time, and took a packet ...
