... admiring, and eating breakfast. Going back down it was fun to see how crazy the terrain that we’d come up actually was in the light of day, and not sure how someone had found a route through the rocks. We arrived back at the parking lot after 10 hours of hiking, and after a long drive back to Ubud we spent the rest of the day sleeping. As it was Liam’s birthday we woke up long enough to go for a nice dinner and dessert to complete the day.

... Langkawi have just arrived in Yacht Haven marina in Phuket, Tony and Sangtong, Joe and Anita, and Neil sailed up a few days ago and Tony invites me onto the boat to stay with everyone. My last day cycling was 140km from Krabi to Phuket and I was surprised how good I felt on arrival, none of the crew can believe I managed that trip in one day all up and down hill and I'm pleased with myself that I've still got it.

So I'll hang around here ...

... through the trees. It may not have been my best night sleep, but one of my best mornings. After a slow start we were given tea and coffee and biscuits to keep us going with breakfast was being made. As a result of one of the girls hurting her foot the day before on the decent Jonny decided we were not going back into the jungle and would enjoy a nice morning by the river and prepare for our rafting back. A bit disappointed as I would have loved a couple more hours ...
