... Next, was the main clubhouse/ restaurant building. It is 2 stories, with all of the exterior, flooring, pillars, and roof being made of teak with one area of hand tiled floor dead centre on the ground floor. It was stunning, I have never been in an entire room made of teak, nor a room with so many men working to finish constructing it, who all stopped what they were doing when we entered to watch us as we examined what they have been working so hard to ...

Food was really good, but isn't it always after a good adventure outside and cooked by someone else! After some candle light chats we all bundled up and laid on our tortuously hard "beds" and tried to sleep while listening to the sounds of the jungle muted by the rain. ... we saw seven orangutans. Three mothers with each a baby and one male. The mothers are semi-wild as they are released from captivity sometime in the 70's. The male we saw is 100%25 wild and we were very lucky to see one, as they live more deep in the jungle. Two of the females with babies came close to us (probably because they wanted the banana we had, but still). It was so unreal to look into their eyes. I can't find the right words to describe it, but it was really ...
