... admiring, and eating breakfast. Going back down it was fun to see how crazy the terrain that we’d come up actually was in the light of day, and not sure how someone had found a route through the rocks. We arrived back at the parking lot after 10 hours of hiking, and after a long drive back to Ubud we spent the rest of the day sleeping. As it was Liam’s birthday we woke up long enough to go for a nice dinner and dessert to complete the day.

... in the morning I felt brilliant which is all that matters I suppose. Sumatra Day 4 We spent our last day in Bukit Lawang relaxing for the first time since leaving home. Once fully rejuvenated we accepted the invitation to attend a local wedding, it was pretty surreal and of course we were papped AGAIN!
