    This morning, we had breakfast at the B&B in Napa, picked up the RV in Vacaville, dropped off the rental car, and headed east. We got to Lake Tahoe around 1:30. We decided to stay at North Lake Tahoe (thanks for the recommendation Anne) since it is a little less developed and has fewer casinos.

    Indeed I do have a headache and feel tired, and just want this section to end. The surface is now undulating slightly, and just as I get to the crest of one mound, certain that this is near the end, I see that there is at least another kilometre or so spreading out ahead of me. Eventually, however, I see the hut and campsite in a green gully with a stream down below.

    ... I loved going to SnowVentures with ski school - we skied and we went down a fast mountain where I went 60 km/ h, I nearly fell over, but I didn't. I went on a chair lift to get to the top of the mountain and that's when I went 60km/ h. Cathy's report: well what can I say - the kids have done the day justice !     The drive to Lake Tahoe took us along the extremely straight and bare, longest road in America (HWY 50) which Brett took at about 100miles/hr (160km/hr). Here we met up we met up with Logan. After arriving Logan showed us around a few bars in Tahoe City, one in particular he used to work at on the water of Lake Tahoe.

    ... the ski rental building. Kara took one for the team and took Sam home for movie- pallooza. Tahoe is small and the lifers take care of each other. It is nice to be related to a lifer.
