... market, but we only had one night there, barely enough time to enjoy the atmosphere. Compared to other markets and such, we found shopping was better in Innsbruck compared to Munich. Swarovski crystal originated here and so that was also a big shopping draw. Their most recent orb for Christmas is exquisite!
While in Munich, I took a side trip without Jon to Salzburg, Austria. I've always wanted to visit Salzburg ever since I saw the "Sound of Music". Our ...

Another interesting thing was this curly fry maker (Maybe they do this at the exhibition but we haven't been for years). We ate ...

      ... extremely well made
considering it was temp and must have cost millions to construct. I can just
imagine them trying to construct this in Britain as a temporary measure. It
would take them 20 years to build, never mind the cost of the project.
As soon as the light changes to green I am off like a shot up this rather
steep and twisty road. I have to make fast progress as the last thing I want now
is to hold the cars up which I just pushed passed at ...

The Alps and Skiing on a Glacier!

... Kaunertal, which is actually just the name of the glacier. We made our way to our hostel, and found out we were actually in an apartment-like room! We had our own kitchen, living room area, and we even had a balcony that overlooked the town and the mountains in the background! It was fabulous. (Or just fab as Rachel would say!) We settled in nicely and set out to find a little supermarket so that we could make our own food. By this point, while ...
