Bangkok blog - sightseeing
... woot. spent ~1.7K baht on souvies and **** at this amazing market which sells everything from bowls - souvies - spoons - shoes - food - i dunno, name it, got it. amazing. it downpoured while we were at the market so we took a breather at a food stall. got some street food for lunch and it was delicioso. our cook became a DJ rap star somewhere in the midst of everthing as he rocked his sunglasses and started tapping away at the pots. picture will follow - going forward, PWF! ...
Pattaya (Sun, Sand, Sea & ....)
... here i headed back to Hat Pattaya. Upon which i was stopped by a police officer who turned out to be the first corrupt policeman i've met in Thailand. I've been here long enough to know the routine and how things work, so i slipped him a 100B note (2pounds) and said "Chok Dii cup" (good luck) to which he replied the same and let me be on my way. Though on a positive note, the police in Thailand have been fantastic and i can't praise them ...
